1) Find a coach and a captain. A coach and captain’s responsibilities and qualifications can be found here. A coach may serve in both roles, if preferred, instead of dividing the duties between two people.
2) Recruit players for your desired level of play (flight) and register your team online using the USTA's TennisLink program.
3) Find a volunteer parent to serve as Team Parent – responsibilities found here.
4) Schedule practices and play!
Players without a team association may contact the appropriate Flight Coordinator and efforts will be made to assign open pool players to a local team.

About GJTT
Greenville Jr. Team Tennis brings kids together in teams to play singles, doubles and mixed doubles against other teams. Our program promotes fun, fitness and friends by fostering social skills and important values, a spirit of cooperation and unity, as well as individual self-growth. It’s a fun environment for kids to learn that succeeding is really more about how they play the game – win or lose.
Greenville Jr. Team Tennis is a non-profit organization, supported by the Upper Piedmont Tennis Association, United States Tennis Associations’ South Carolina office, Southern Section and the USTA National organization.
Who Can Play
Greenville Jr. Team Tennis is a multi-week program of team practice and match play for boys and girls ages 6-18. Under 10 teams consist of a minimum of 4 players (gender not specific) and full court teams consist of a minimum of 3 boys and 3 girls. Teams are grouped by age and play levels (“flights”).

Congratulations to our Summer League Coordinator, LaDonna Kaminer for winning the 2011 SCJTT Coordinator of the Year award! In addition, GJTT's sponsor Community Tennis Association, the Upper Piedmont Tennis Association won the state CTA of the year for 2011!
